Carnegie Hill Endoscopy, a clinical affiliate of Mount Sinai Medical Center, is a 15,000 square foot state of the art Endoscopy Center that opened on March 5, 2012. It is located on Lexington Avenue between 97th and 98th street. The goal of the Center is to be completely in plan including the facility charges, anesthesia services, and pathology. The Center has close proximity to the 6 Train, the FDR, and the cross street at 96th. Parking is available in the building. Starbucks is a block away.
Located within the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of Manhattan, CHE is easily accessible by car and all modes of public transportation. With over 15,000 square feet of space, the facility offers a relaxed atmosphere for patients and their families. There is a 14 bed recovery area, a highly trained and multi-lingual staff of nurses certified by SGNA as Advanced GI Technical Specialists (AGTS), and endoscopy technicians certified by CBSPD as flexible scope reprocessors and are certified by SGNA as GI Technical Specialists (GTS); bed-side computerized monitoring and 5 spacious procedure rooms with the latest in cutting edge technology for your GI needs. For your added safety and comfort, all procedures are performed with assistance from board certified anesthesiologist from York Anesthesia and seen by our full staff of Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurses (CGRN).
The Surgical Center has an elegant waiting area for your comfort with wireless internet, telephone charging stations, refreshments, a private check in kiosk and iPads for all patients and guest. This helps create an atmosphere more comfortable and welcoming than traditional settings found in hospital and office environments.
